Dining at Hakai Lodge

Our dining room comfortably seats 75 guests. Our new restaurant-style kitchen is fully staffed including our very own chef and baker.
They prepare delicious meals including salmon, halibut, and prawns cooked to order. We also serve prime rib with yorkshire pudding, turkey with cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie, and other delicious beef and poultry options. Each day our baker makes fresh home-made bread, rolls, pastries, pies, cakes, and other “low calorie” delights.
Full, hearty country breakfasts start the day. Lunches are either full buffet or sit-down.
Midnight snacks are for the asking.
Special menus such as low sodium and low cholesterol diets are available. With some advance notice, our kitchen can prepare anything you request.
Fishing at Hakai Lodge can brew up a big appetite! Enjoy some of Chef Smittys fantastic home style cooking three times daily along with cookies and pastrys from our bakery. Our dining room seats up to 60 comfortably for a great dining experience.
Breakfast is continental style for a meal that is quick and on your schedule to allow you to get out for the morning bite or just sit back and relax with a variety of breakfast items. Our hearty lunches are full sit down or buffet style. Soups from scratch are made fresh daily and the breads are baked in-house. At lunch time, the Smoked Salmon dish is always full. Dinners at Hakai Lodge have been a tradition for nearly 40 years. Fresh salads and soup, along with a glass of wine, start off your meal. Our main course features are Prime Rib, Halibut, Salmon, or a hearty Roast Turkey. Made each day, homemade deserts from our bakery are a great way to finish off a wonderful dinner.
Alternate meal choices can be arranged for those with special dining requests, with advance notice. Our kitchen staff is more than happy to make a sandwich for those that really do want to miss a bit of fishing for lunch.
